Terms of Sale, Returns & Delivery Policy

These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made from Unique Floor Supply ("UFS"). By purchasing products from UFS, the customer agrees to the policies outlined below.

Unique Floor Supply is a supplier of flooring materials and related supplies only. UFS does not provide installation services.

Product Inspection & Acceptance

All materials must be inspected by the customer and/or installer prior to installation.

The customer and installer are responsible for verifying:

  • Color

  • Grade

  • Finish

  • Dimensions

  • Product type

  • Quantity

  • Visible defects

Do not install material that appears incorrect or defective.

Installation of any product constitutes full acceptance of the material and confirms that the product was received in satisfactory condition.

Once materials have been installed, no claims for visible defects, color variation, or incorrect product will be accepted.

Returns

Returns may be accepted within 30 days of the original purchase date subject to the following conditions:

  • All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

  • Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

  • Flooring must be returned in full, unopened cartons only.

  • Partial cartons or loose materials cannot be returned.

  • Materials must be in resalable condition.

All returns are subject to inspection and approval by UFS.

UFS reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet these requirements.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • All liquid products, including adhesives, finishes, stains, sealers, and cleaners

  • Special order or non-stocking items

  • Opened or used materials

  • Partial cartons

  • Clearance or discontinued items

  • Products with damaged packaging

Special Orders & Non-Stocking Products

Special order or non-stocking items are ordered specifically for the customer.

Therefore:

  • All deposits and payments for special orders are non-refundable.

  • Special order items cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed.

  • Special order products cannot be returned or exchanged.

Customers are responsible for confirming product specifications, quantities, and selections prior to ordering.

Order Quantities & Overage

Customers and installers are responsible for ordering sufficient quantities of material, including appropriate overage for cutting, waste, and future repairs.

UFS is not responsible for shortages resulting from insufficient quantities ordered.

Due to potential dye lot and manufacturing variations, additional material purchased later may not match the original order.

Product Variation

Flooring products may vary in:

  • Color

  • Grain pattern

  • Shade

  • Texture

  • Finish

  • Gloss level

These variations are natural characteristics of flooring products and do not constitute defects.

Product samples and display boards are representative only and may not exactly match delivered material.

Damaged or Missing Materials

All shipments must be inspected immediately upon pickup or delivery.

Any visible damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be reported to UFS within 48 hours.

Failure to report damage or shortages within this timeframe may void the claim.

Delivery Policy

Delivery services provided by UFS are curbside or jobsite delivery only, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe and accessible delivery conditions

  • Providing labor for moving materials inside the property

UFS drivers are not responsible for carrying materials inside homes or buildings unless prearranged.

UFS is not responsible for property damage caused by restricted access, unsafe jobsite conditions, or customer direction during delivery.

Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold by UFS carry manufacturer warranties.

Warranty claims must be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty process and approval.

UFS will assist in facilitating warranty claims but does not independently provide product warranties.

Limitation of Liability

UFS liability, if any, is limited solely to the replacement of defective material or refund of the purchase price of the material.

Under no circumstances shall UFS be liable for:

  • Labor costs

  • Installation costs

  • Removal costs

  • Project delays

  • Loss of use

  • Property damage

  • Incidental or consequential damages

No Installation Services

Unique Floor Supply does not provide installation services and is not responsible for installation methods, workmanship, or jobsite conditions.

All installation work is performed by independent contractors hired by the customer.

Policy Acceptance

By purchasing materials from Unique Floor Supply, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms of Sale and policies.

Text Messaging Policy


SMS Terms & Conditions

Unique Floor Supply may offer customers the option to receive SMS or text messages for order updates, delivery notifications, promotions, and other business communications. By opting in to receive SMS messages from Unique Floor Supply, you agree to the following terms.

Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS or MMS messages from Unique Floor Supply.

These messages may include:

  • Order confirmations and updates

  • Delivery notifications

  • Customer service communications

  • Promotions, offers, and company updates

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchase.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan.

Unique Floor Supply is not responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier.

To stop receiving messages, reply:

After sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from Unique Floor Supply.
